Sales Order missing Purchase Order

We need a way to determine whether a Purchase Order has not been raised for a Sales Order. It doesn’t happen a lot, but we do occasionally miss some of them, and then the only way we really pick up on them is when the customer doesn’t get their order on the delivery date
